When you submit a shop listing or create an account, we collect the details you provide: shop name, address, phone number, email address, and any other information you choose to include.

Usage and analytics data

We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site. These tools collect data such as pages visited, time on page, device type, and general location (city level). This data is aggregated and anonymised — we cannot identify individual users from it.

Location data

If you use the "Find Shops Near Me" feature, your browser will request your GPS location. This data is processed entirely in your browser to calculate distances — it is never sent to our servers.

Shop listing data

Shop names, addresses, phone numbers, and operating hours are sourced from publicly available information. We make reasonable efforts to verify and keep this data accurate.

3. How we use your information

  • To display and maintain shop listings on the directory.
  • To allow shop owners to manage and update their listings.
  • To improve the site based on aggregated usage patterns.
  • To respond to your enquiries or reports.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data retention

Shop listing data is retained for as long as the shop appears to be operating. If you are a shop owner and wish to have your listing removed, email hello@carcareph.com. We will process removal requests within 2 business days.

Account information is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to legitimate operational needs).
  • Object to or restrict our processing of your data.
